This science-focused programme introduced students to key concepts in nature, biology, and environmental systems through hands-on activities and experiments. Students explored weather by creating rain gauges and wind vanes, developing an understanding of data collection and Earth science. They learned about metamorphosis through the butterfly life cycle and investigated pollination by building model bees and simulating pollen transfer.
The programme also included a practical experiment constructing a solar updraft tower, encouraging curiosity about heat, light, and the scientific method. In the final stage, students combined their learning in a “Spring Showcase,” designing an integrated garden model that demonstrated how weather, plants, animals, and human elements interact within a wider ecosystem.
