IDEA's architecture programme introduced students to iconic buildings and design movements through creative, hands-on projects. Inspired by the Sagrada Familia by Antoni Gaudí, students explored Gothic and Art Nouveau styles by building a “spaghetti temple.” They then discovered Mid-Century Modern design through the Eames House by Charles Eames and Ray Eames, creating modular card sculptures.

Modernism was introduced through the Louvre Pyramid by I. M. Pei, where students designed paper pyramid lanterns. They also explored fluid, contemporary forms inspired by the Heydar Aliyev Centre by Zaha Hadid, creating curvy paper landscapes. Finally, students learned about sustainable design through TECLA by Mario Cucinella Architects, building eco clay dens. The programme encouraged creativity while introducing key architectural styles, innovation, and environmental awareness.
