Our manga-inspired programme introduced students to a variety of creative techniques, combining character design, art history, and hands-on making. They began by creating a manga-style self-portrait, learning expressive features and developing their own character throughout the course. Students explored the origins of manga, designed fantasy creatures and brought them to life in 3D using clay, and built confidence through drawing chibi characters.
