Comics Club

Comics Club

The comics programme guideS students through the fundamentals of character design, storytelling, and comic creation.

They began by designing their own villains and superheroes, developing characters and backstories, and then learned to draw characters using basic shapes such as circles, rectangles, triangles, and squares.

Students will have the opportunity to create comics set in a variety of locations and worlds, exploring storytelling, narrative structure, and imaginative discovery.

Through creative challenges such as three-word comics, they will transform random objects, prompts, or words into engaging six-panel stories, developing confidence in visual communication and creative thinking.

As the programme progresses, students will design and produce their own comic books in A4 booklet format, bringing together the skills they have developed throughout the course.

They will learn the full comic-creation process, from character design and world-building to storyboarding, sequencing, and storytelling, and create original narratives from start to finish. Students will invent their own characters, choose names, develop visual identities, and publish their own unique comic creations through self-directed projects.
